Commissions

Portrait commissions are especially welcomed, as I am passionate about visually commemorating the human and animal spirit. I find nothing more timeless than an artfully painted portrait, one that captures the likeness and quintessential character of a beloved person or pet.

When you contact me, we will discuss your vision for the portrait and I will work from photos that you provide in order to create a portrait that I know you will treasure.

To begin, first I will provide an agreement, outlining the description and price of the portrait. A (non-refundable) deposit of half the final total is then due, with the balance of payment due upon completion when you give your final approval. During the process, I send you an email showing you the progress, which will then give you an opportunity to provide any feedback you may have at that point. Two complimentary edit allowances are provided, if you feel the need to make some minor changes. Depending upon the complexity of the subject, please allow approximately two weeks for completion of the work, at which time the print will then be shipped directly to you or a recipient. Shipping costs are calculated based on location and current rates.
